About the author

Rob Taggart was born in Sydney, Australia, and spent some time growing up in the Blue Mountains and rural town of Parkes. He studied mathematics, music and education at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). After working in Nepal for a year, Rob returned to Australia and completed a PhD in Pure Mathematics at UNSW. He enjoys cycling, running, bushwalking, classical music and reading. He is married to Karina, has a six month old daughter Alexandra, and recently moved to Canberra to work at the Australian National University.
